Hotel Directions

For people on the move with their cars, the hotel is placed very conveniently. It takes only 10-15 minutes to reach from the A11 motorway (L'Océane) that joins Paris to Chartres, Le Mans, and Nantes. The hotel is easy to locate through GPS and provides the big convenience of entirely free public street parking, easy to find right outside the entrance, quite major compared to the much expensive and difficult-to-find private parking in the heart of the historic center of Chartres.

For international travelers, the airport Paris Orly (ORY) is the closest and most convenient one as it is only an hour’s drive. Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) is farther, taking about 1.5-2 hours. The best way from either of these places to rent a car and drive. Another option would be taking a shuttle or the RER train into Paris to Montparnasse station.

Coming by train is best. Frequent TER trains from Paris Montparnasse to Gare de Chartres. Trip duration is relatively short, between 60 and 75 minutes. Hotel du Centre is a 20-25 minute walk from Chartres train station, or a very short and cheap taxi ride from there, that is, say less than 10 min
